1904 Old School Coffee Company (OSC) is a fully black owned company which was founded in 2016 and initially operated for 1 year doing markets across Gauteng over weekends. Subsequently we have opened a shop in Newtown and Braamfontein.
Our aim is to expose individuals who wouldn't normally be exposed to artisanal coffee.
Our passion for coffee started from our local church that we are a part of. They got a machine a few years back and they needed people to operate it. We took it upon ourselves to learn the art of coffee and as a result we quickly learned that coffee is not just about making the perfect cup, it goes beyond that. It is also about creating an experience, connecting people and can become a lifestyle. Our motto is "We love God, We love People and We Love Coffee"and that is central to who we are.
We don't just want to serve coffee, but introduce a lifestyle of coffee.
